Dr. Mestanas is a Fulbright scholar with postgraduate studies at Long Island University and the University of Maryland, a member in the Society of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology divisions of the American Psychological Association, a Fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association and is credentialed in the National Register of Health Service Providers. He directed clinical program operations in mental health and addictions for inpatient, residential and outpatient settings. In 2005, he authored a book on health. At AYSB, as a licensed psychologist and program consultant, he provides clinical supervision to staff and ascertains quality care and adherence to COMAR regulations.
